The tournament will have an Xbox and PlayStation division. PlayStation and Xbox division 2K MT. It will take place online over the weekend between November 7-8 and November 14-15. Final round - the Elite 8 for each division which will take place on in the week of November 21-22 and will be live streamed via TGS' Twitch channel. TGS will run the tournament providing professional level production and event management.

A portion of the event's earnings will be given to three non-profit organizations: Cxmmunity, which promotes sports participation for minorities; Beyond Sports, which assists in the transformation of athletic ability into real-life opportunities; and That Harper Kid. This foundation was started by Linnae Harper, former Chicago Sky guard, to benefit the local youth.

Many Chicago area famous basketball players from high schools have also contributed their support to the cause among them Jahil Okafor, Kendrick Nunn, Quentin Richardson, Darius Miles, Tim Hardaway, Deon Thomas, Hoop Dreams stars Arthur Agee and William Gates and Chicago high school legend Linnae Harper.
